It's Christmas Time!!!

As most of you know, I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!! and I've successfully passed that on to Lucy. She LOVED setting up our tree last night, and this morning she was so excited to wear her Christmas dress, and dance to Christmas music. I know this song is a little weird, it's one of the weird ones that is on my Trans Siberian Orchestra CD, but Lucy loves it, she likes the beat. I love watching her dance.

Our First Snow Storm!!

Lucy is for sure my daughter, she LOVES the snow!!! We got our first real snow storm this year two days after Thanksgiving. Nothing gets Lucy more excited than seeing a fresh blanket of snow. She loves eating it. But this year, Shawn taught her how to make a snowman, and I took her sledding. (Well kind of, I just pushed her sled down Bob and Pam's front yard, no worries, I didn't climb on a sled 6 1/2 months pregnant, well at least not that day, I did 2 days later though, but I was very careful.) She is having so much fun learning about all the new things she can do in the snow, and what is really funny is that I am way better about getting her outside when there is snow on the ground than I am in the summer when it is just too hot.

Look at that concentration! That whole side of the snow man was a little con caved because Lucy wouldn't stop sneaking chunks of him to eat.

And there you have the finished products. Not to bad for a spur of the moment snow man.

Playing Catchup

Ok, so I know I've been really bad about blogging lately. My bad. So here are just a few quick clips of November. This basically sums everything up. Um, yeah, didn't really take any Thanksgiving pictures, is that bad? But I did take pictures of her playing in the snow that we got 2 days after Thanksgiving, so I will post those later.

So Lucy decided sometime this month that she loves putting on make up. When she wouldn't stop climbing up on the toilet and stealing my make up, I decided to give her some old stuff I never use. She was so excited, and you can see the result.

Every morning as Shawn is going to work Lucy says "Bye bye!! I love you!!" Well on this day she figured out how to open the garage door, which is the door Shawn leaves through, and she looked at us and said "Bye bye! I love you!!"

Go Cougars!!! If we can't live in Provo any more, at least we can watch a good BYU football game in the comfort of our home town every few years. This year we went with Shawn's family and had a great time. It did make me miss the good old days though.
