Happy Day!!!

What a happy day! BYU just won (and really, I must say smashed) round two of the tournament. We are all very excited around here. Shawn was oh so lucky and got to witness this game in person, even if he did go alone.

Another happy note, I have figured out how to block my unwelcome followers!!! This makes me SO haapy because I was about to go private again. Why do creepy weird people like to follow me? It's like high school all over again, only the weird, somewhat staulker like boys were interested in me. Glad I found a solution to my problem! I a very happy girl right now.

Now that my unwelcome followers are blocked, get ready for a new post upheaval. I'll start tomorrow, when I get home.

A Picture Says a Thousand Words

If one pictures says a thousand words, then two say two thousand words. We've made our first attempt at potty training Jack. We went about 1 week of putting him on the potty first thing in the morning and making him stay there until we had success. We had plenty of success, but we are lacking in the connecting of the dots. So we're taking a break for a month or two and then trying again. But if you look at these pictures you will notice how drastic our distraction methods had to be to keep this little guy on the potty for up to 2 hours at a time.

1- Notice the sippy cups in the back, a full glass of chocolate milk was given first thing to try to trigger the bladder.
2- The books, we read lost and lots of books.
3- Notice the toilet paper is on the counter, not on the holder. And you'll also notice the roll on the holder is empty. Jack couldn't lay off it unless it was out of site.
4- The blanket. He would not stay on the toilet at all unless he had his blanket, weird I know.
5- Alivia's pacifier is also in the back ground because keeping Jack on the toilet for 2 hours mean I also have to keep her happy for 2 hours too.
6- In the mirror of the second picture you can see me sitting on the side of the tub. I stayed there most of the time, but I tried to be as productive as I could be in that 10 foot square room. I would bathe Alivia, wash the sink, tub, counter, mirror (though I hadn't gotten to the later two when these pictures were taken).

Hopefully you can see that Jack is a happy boy, you'll notice he wasn't screaming in any of the pictures. But once he started fighting me and not wanting to go I decided he just wasn't ready. He loves his potty time, and of course he loves the treats, but he's so not ready. Still, he's once cute little bug sitting on that "Uoot ball, Uahhhh!" (football uahhhh!) potty.
