Not Private Anymore

Okay, I just removed my private setting since it get's pretty complicated with the invites. Not for me, but for everyone else. I did change my settings so that hopefully I won't get weird random scary people who start following my blog again. Yeah, that is so not ok with, so if your name is "Mommy4u" or close to that (I didn't memorize the user name), I don't want you following me, so please stop cuz it's weird and creepy to follow people you don't know. But hey, if I keep having the same problem I'll go back to private.

Jack's 2nd Birthday

Jack turned two on Wednesday. I can't believe he is two already. We all know he has a soft spot in my heart, I LOVE his little personality lately, I can't get enough of it. The good and the bad. So I let him pick his birthday theme this year. It was pretty much either going to be Buzz Lightyear or Lightening McQueen. Lightening McQueen won out, but only because of his hat, which he shop lifted. For a more details about that, click here.

One happy little guy with the cake. This is nothing special, a quick job but we just didn't have enough people to do anything much bigger. We only ate half of this as it was.

As seems to be tradition, our kids get two parties every year. One at Grandma Hammond's with the extended family, and then one at our house on their actual birthday. The cake and picture below were at grandmas where Jack was hooked up with an awesome Little People car track/garage (the classic with the elevator, I'm a sucker for Little People, and yet somehow this is our first Little People set), a Toy Story 3 car track which is great for racing hot wheels, and some stinking cute tee shirts that Jack has been wearing the last several days because he is so cute in them.

At our house, Jack got his gifts from mom and dad. We hooked him up with a couple power tool sets, which have been a big hit, an adorable crayon set my friend made for me, the Lightening McQueen hat of course, and Lucy got him a Toy Story bouncer ball to bounce around on (which his legs are too short for, but Lucy is sure getting a lot of use out of it).

Tell me that face doesn't say this little guys was one excited bug? Can you see why I have a soft spot for him?

Lucy giving him her gift.

And of course playing with the spoils. I love how well these two are playing lately. It sure makes my life easier, and it just makes me smile and laugh as I listen to their conversations. Love these kids, and love by little man.

Alivia's Newborn Photo Shoot

I took Alivia to get her newborn pictures done when she was a week and a 3 days old. Now that she is a month old, it's time to share them with everyone. We'll start with all three of the kids. Alivia wasn't so into this. Actually, to be honest with you, it was Jack who wasn't so into it. But he turned out pretty darn cute. I can't believe I have 3 kids.

Look at her eyes! I've always loved those baby blues.

And Jack goes for his own Blue look. We call this Blue Steel. I just want to squeeze those cheeks!

And now on to the star of the show. Again, these are in no particular order, and I was only going to put up a couple of my very favorite pictures, but honestly, what mom have you ever known to do that? I figure it doesn't hurt to have them all backed up in yet another location.

I'm just a fan of the luggage, that's it. Alivia didn't like how cold it was, so she peed on it.

LOVE this pose!

I made this little tutu real quick the night before. She actually has worn this as part of an outfit a time or two.

So this one is really fun to me. See that hat? Love it? Yeah, my mom made that in about 5 minutes, and it was a huge hit all over the hospital. It's so stinking cute. If you want one, you can look up "JoJo's Bootique" on Etsy.com. She sales them now, and they are a hit. I made the blanket in the background, but it's not quite as cool, because I can't claim that I wove the fabric myself.

I don't know why I love this one so much, it's so simple, but it has so much personality in it.

o

This picture is already printed off and framed. I LOVE IT!!!

I love this one! Shawn was working on making this into a birth announcement before he lost interest. But I will be framing this baby!

This photo shoo taught me a few things about Alivia that I hadn't learned yet. One thing I learned is that she hates curling up in a ball. How she survived her 9 months in the womb I will never know, but it sure explains a lot. This picture below is the only one that we were able to get her to curl up in, and she is still doing something funny with her legs. Funny, but so cute.

And I cannot look at this one and not smile. It kind of makes my heart flutter. I love the wink. It's like she's saying "Yeah, I'm cute."
