Alivia's Blessing

Thank you Jamie for getting on me about this one. I am the worst mother in the world! We blessed Alivia on March 6th, and she was one precious little girl. Shawn gave a beautiful blessing and we were so excited to have Shawn's parents, Chris, Dave and Adriana and the gang, and Steff and her roommates come down and support us. It was just so much fun. But here is where the loser mom comes in. Our camera's batteries were totally dead. We took like 15 pictures, or so we thought. Some of Alivia, some of Alivia and Lucy and Jack, and we only got 4 on our camera. I'm just so thankful we got any at all. And they did turn out adorable, if I do say so myself, and I do.

Ok, I have to say, seeing these pictures makes me realize she really does have A LOT of hair. I don't think I realize it so much in person because I'm just use to it. But seriously, look at all that hair! She has a ton! And it doesn't like to lay down at all lately, you can kind of tell here. And the roots are coming in platinum blond.

New Beds All Around!

Last month we finally broke down and bought Lucy a new bed. She was getting ridiculous in that toddler bed. We bought her a bunk bed for an awesome deal at Walmart. It still cost us way more than we wanted to spend, but you have to get your kids a bed. Once her bed came, we gave the toddler bed to Jack, and he was more than excited. He loves his bed set with all the balls. I love it too. Here are some pictures of Jack's room and both of the kids spending their first night in their new beds.

His room, while not done, just makes me happy. I love that we have a dedicated BYU room in our house. Can't wait to get the boarder done someday.

This in one excited little guy!

Shawn and I also spoiled ourselves and purchased our first real bed since we got married. We've had real bed, and we've been so thankful for it, but it was second hand and we were really starting to feel it. So we bought ourselves a king!! I'm so excited! I don't care how the mattress is, I sleep so much better in a king because I have so much space. Having a good king just makes me giddy. Can't wait for it to get here in two days!
