One Last Harrah!

A few weeks before our move, Heather was on Spring Brake for work, so we decided to make it count. We took the kids out to the Bean and Life Science Museum, and then too the Creamery on Ninth for ice cream. They were so cute! Lucy was feeding Cole her ice cream, and then it happened... THE KISS!!!

Is that not the cutest thing in the whole world? I've tried to catch it for so long, and I finally did.

A few days later on the weekend, we took Cole and Lucy to the Zoo. It was a lot of fun. They loved looking at the animals, and we loved watching them interact. One of their favorite things about the trip was sitting in this little boat. They were pretty funny.

Lucy loves elephants. She tries to make the trumpet sound with her mouth every time she sees one. It was so fun for her to get to see one in real life, she was speechless.

And of course when they fount the slide, that was all they wanted to do. Lucy was so funny. I'd put her up on the top and she would carefully walk over to the slide because she was scared of the cracks between the beams. I had to catch it on camera.

By the time the day was over, Lucy was exhausted! She took no longer than 4 minutes to fall asleep in the car. Cole loved that because he can only get her to cooperate when she is sleeping. So Cole held her hand for most of the ride home. It was so sweet! Bitter sweet really, kind of a little heart breaking. Those poor kids had no idea what was coming. Look at the way he looks at her!!
