Jack at 2 weeks old. Such a little bruiser.
Jack at one month. Trying so hard to smile.
Jack's blessing day, 6 weeks old.
2 months old, smile mastered!
3 months old.
4 months: first taste of solids, a whole new world.
5 months and camping out.
6 months: Miami Beach bum. Learned to crawl.
7 months and only getting cuter!
8 months: Way too moble! First word: Mama!
10 months: Jack's first and very merry Christmas!
And finally Jack's birthday! We started the festivities by making a cake. Jack helped mix it.
Then we did presents of course. Jack was so spoiled, but really not by us. We only got him 2 presents. That is the bonus of having a party at Bob and Pam's when everyone comes home for a visit.
Singing first of course. But Jack had no interest in the cake, he just looked at it, until he saw Lucy make a swip at the frosting....
then he made a poke at it...
Then he dug in, literally. Excuse the drool, he wasn't feeling well that week.
He never took a single bit, just mushed things up with his fingers and stirred it up really good. He also stuck his foot in it. I tried giving him a bit of the frosting, but he just was not interested. He was just in HEAVEN demolishing the cake.
We could not be more greatful to have this little guy in our family. He is so much fun. We are so lucky to have a girly girl, and a little boy who is all boy. So much fun. Happy birthday Jack!

I love that Jack didn't eat his cake and just sabatoged it instead, haha. jack is so cute and handsom and "I can't believe he is one"! No it actually cracks me up that you said that cause I was thinking about it and how every month people say, me included, I can't believe my baby is a month, 2months, 3 months, etc. So I decided on my next I am going to say, "I can't believe how little my baby is and only a month, 2 months, etc". We age our kids too much. Serious Jack is only a year, that's like 1/22 of me. Haha! Alright, I am done, I just thought it was ironic that you brought it up cause I seriously was thinking about it right before I read your blog. Anyways, Lucy is quite the little photographer, such a cute personality. And I am really sorry to hear about your loss. I can't imagine losing you, or haley, or amanda. It would kill me. And to leave a wife and 3 kids, I can't imagine the pain you all are going through. Tell shawn I am so very sorry and I hope the best for that small family. I love you Chantell, call me sometime. Despite the fact that we rarely talk you will always be my best friend and someone I love and admire.
He is already one!! Wow that seem like it went by so fast!! Happy Birthday!!
This past year flew!! That little Jack has sure carved his place in the family - what a doll! Love him so much!
