Jack just found a bag of Easter candy and is now eating it. That's right, Easter. I guess when I hid the Halloween candy, he decided that Easter is the next best thing. Lucy never liked candy. Check that, she likes candy, she is just picky about it. Jack on the other hand will eat anything sweet he can get his hands on. I guess I have to up my game in the candy hiding department.
Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, the reason he found the Easter candy is because we are refinishing our kitchen cabinets, and I had to empty them all in order to do that. The Easter candy has been in one for a while, and I put it in a bag and put it in my pile of unbreakable items in the corner in our family room. Jack found it there.

I have to admit something. Many years ago, several months after Easter, I was vacuuming the family room. I moved the couch and there was a jelly bean that wasn't found on Easter morning. What did I do? Picked it up, dusted it off, and ate it! I don't even like jelly beans - I was just desperate for something sweet! Jack must take after his g'ma Hammond!
