December 5th is a monumental day are our house. First and foremost, it is the anniversary of Shawn and I. Not our wedding anniversary, but it is our anniversary of becoming a couple. Usually it is me that reminds Shawn of this every year, but this year it was all him, I had almost completely forgotten. Six years ago from this December 5th, Shawn, my roommates and I watched the First Presidency's Christmas Broadcast together. Shawn and I sat next to each other... the rest is history. December 5th was especially fun this year because it fell on a Sunday again for the first time since the night we became a couple, so we actually got to watch the Christmas Broadcast and everything. We totally relived the night, only without the Ward prayer at the end.
This year December 5th also had another special meaning for our family. Yesterday was Jack's first day that he stayed in Nursery the entire time without crying or sleeping through it (which did happen once, but I don't really count that as a successful stay in Nursery). He wasn't necessarily happy about it, but he stayed, and boy oh boy did we make a big deal about it when we picked him up and brought him home.
I love December 5th.
