Playing House

I don't know why, but it was so exciting for me to realize that Lucy is old enough now to really play with other kids. She has always had other kids around her, and she has always played with them in a way, but it usually involved her frantically following those kids and taking away her toys from them. This summer was different when I started watching Kaleb and Haylee. Kaleb was 7 and Haylee 3. I only had them for 8 weeks this summer while they were living with their mom. Lucy and Haylee got along so well, it was so fun to watch them. They especially loved playing house. They would take turns pretending to be the baby and the mom. They would get into Jack's blankets, bottles, crib, swing, diapers, wipes, bibs, lotion, diaper rash cream, you name it, they got into it. It was such a hassel to clean up after them, but they were so cute. Here are a few samplers of what I caught them doing. Lucy still, even today, a month after I stoped watching them cries and says she misses her friends Haylee and Kaleb. Maybe we'll get them again next summer.
