Jack's kind of had a rough one as far as getting his nights a days figured out. That means that we have had a rough week too. So I'm mean and don't let Jack sleep much during the day, but he has to sleep a little, and lucky for us that getting him to sleep is easy, so we can sleep whenever we are ready to, and if we are really lucky, Lucy is asleep too. That hasn't happened yet.
Steff was one of those people how got the cold bug, so she couldn't come visit Jack in the hospital. She waited as long as she could, but still wasn't 100% better when she decided she couldn't wait any longer, so she went to a doctor's office and picked up some surgical masks so that she could come visit. As you can see, she was pretty excited.
So my mom was here this whole week, but she did a really good job at dodging the camera. Those of you who know her well are not surprised. But she was here a full week and we don't have one picture of her. I do think we got her on video camera, but she totally worked her magic as far a pictures go. But I do want her to know that she was a life saver this week. She got here just in the nik of time, since I went into labor about 8 hours after her arivial. Today is my first full day without her or Shawn, and I'm missing her. Lucy had a blast with her too, and won't let me take down the bed my mom slept on in her room because she thinks that if we leave it up long enough "Grandma Slu Slu" will come back. My mom made Lucy a little "Daddy Dolphine" that I won't even try to explain, but Lucy is obsessed with it. We had a fun week, and it was so good to see my mom. Thanks again mom, you are awesome!
