Lucy has taken to the role of big sister amazingly. She loves to kiss Jack, and she is always talking to him in the sweetest little voice. She says things like "It's ok Baby Jack", or "Don't cry Baby Jack!" She is so soft with him and will just come up and gently pat his head or kiss him. Totally melts my heart. She's also taken on some new chores around the house. Lucy has been helping me unload the dishwasher for a few months now (which was really nice when I was really big and didn't want to bend down to get things, and we've only lost one bowl), but last night she took on the challenge of setting the table all by herself. She did really good for a two year old. And after dinner she helped clear and put things away. I think she feels more important now that we have little Jack to take care of, and she wants to be right in there helping.
Lucy's learning a few new tricks on the side.
Think she might be ready for a gymnastics class this summer?

Tell! Oh my goodness you have such beautiful kids! I'm so excited for you and Shawn, what a blessing! I'm so sad that I can't be there to hold the little tyke but hopefully soon, time goes by so fast. Ashlyn is already crawling (well, army crawling) which is crazy and our house needs to be baby proofed. Anyways, Lucy looks like such a sweet older sister and you look so great! Love ya lots!
P.S. Are you feeding Jack orange juice?:)haha, just curious.
Oh So Sweet. I loved watching Hayleigh and Gordon bond. IT is the best thing as a mom to watch!
