I was so excited to get to drive out to Utah with my mother in law so that I could meet my family and spend a few days with them. They were coming down to Lagoon to watch my little sister Katelyn perform in her dance competition. She did so good! She had two dances, but I only got to see one because Lucy was having issues. But what I got to see was amazing. This is the best picture we got because Katelyn was bouncing around so much when she was dancing. What can you expect, it was tap. Katelyn is the one facing the camera.

Lucy on her first ride of the day. She was very concerned about falling out when the helicopter went up, so she made sure to pull the bar close. What she didn't know is that pulling the bar close made the helicopter go up.
Onto the airplanes! She loved these rides so much! Matthew was so good about going on all the rides with her. He was the perfect height because he could still ride all the kiddie rides with Lucy and Kaylie, but he also got to ride all the big roller coasters with us too.
Gotta love my dad. He didn't get a ride pass, his stomach can't take it. So he was on Jack duty. And this is the man everyone says Jack looks like. How do you feel about that Jack?
Lucy gave bumper cars a try. She loved them, but once they started the ride, she drove straight into the curb over there and couldn't figure out how to get away from the wall the rest of the time. Could have been worse though, Kaylie crashed into the curb, cried and cried, pulled her seat belt over her head and climbed out of the car. Good thing her dad is a good climber and was able to get to her before any other kids ran her over.
I think the boat ride was the girls favorite. Lucy loved driving the boat and ringing the bell. Kaylie was a little more interested in drinking the water. You can see her putting her hand over the side, then she would cup her little hand and bring it back to her mouth to drink it. So funny!!
This is how Jack spent most of the day, but by the end of the day Lucy was conked out too. Good thing Grandpa Flu Flu was able to win her this dolphin to sleep on. She loves that dolphin so much, and we all got to go ride the big roller coasters while she was sleeping.
We had such a fun trip. It was so fun to spend the day with my family. We survived the down pour rain storm that thinned the croud at Lagoon, and I somehow found the courage to ride wicked (probably because Matthew -my 10 year old brother- wasn't even hesitant, and I wasn't going to let him show me up), and I only drouled on Katelyn once during the Spider ride (I forgot the importance of closing your mouth and swallowing on a rolller coaster). My kids were so good during the long drive both ways, and I can't thank Pam enough for letting me bum a ride!
