The little mouse. These costumes were so cute up on stage. I didn't really like them when we first got them, but there is nothing cuter then those little girls up there on the stage walking around like little mice with that little frill on their bums.
Lucy has been in ballet since June, and she LOVES it. She was in The Nutcracker this Christmas season, and she was a baby mouse and a lamb.
Lucy was very protective of her flowers, and wouldn't even put them down or move where her hands were on them. She was so funny.

When someone finally convinced Lucy that if we took her flowers away, she would get them right back, she decided to take a picture with her little buddy Matthew. Lucy and Matthew have so much fun playing together these days, and poor Matthew is always one sad little boy when it is time to go home and he has to leave Lucy. They melt me.
I think Lucy loves the spotlight.
I know the make up is a little much, and it was really freeky to see her with all that on, but it was required stage makeup. As for the tongue, I have no explination. But we were so proud of this little girl, she did awesome, and if I have to watch the DVD of the preformance one more time, I might snap. She loves watching herself.
There you go Jamie, thanks for the little push, I needed that. More is coming, get excited for Christmas morning pictures, especially one of Jack, I laugh just thinking about it.

That is crazy that little boy's name is Matthew. When I opened your blog I saw that picture briefly before it scrolled me up to the top, and I thought, "Oh look, there's Lucy with Matthew (your brother)." Anyway, I know your Matthew is probably like, 10 by now, but they look a lot the same...just thought I would mention it. :)
