Shawn took Lucy on a Daddy Daughter Date a few weeks ago. They had such a blast! And Jack and I enjoyed some nice and quite time at home, we took a nap! Anyway, Disney on Ice was in town, and we thought Lucy would love it! But it was a little pricey, that and Shawn still felt really guilty about leaving Lucy at church a few weeks ago. He got all the way home, walked in the door (I was home with the baby because he was still too young to take to church and our whole ward was sick), and said "OH LUCY!!!" Anyway, he felt really really bad. Lucky for us we have an awesome Primary President who waited with Lucy until Shawn came and got her. But yeah, he felt so bad, and he's been wanting to take her out on a Daddy daughter date for a while, so this is what he took her to. She LOVED it! Even before she knew what she was really doing, she was telling everyone she saw that she got to go on a date!

Holy tangent. The daddy/daughter date was completely independent of me leaving her at church. I do not endorse this post.
We did have fun though, and not because of guilt.
